i just watched the first 2 episodes of bsg season 3 and i am so pissed. what the fuck happened to the quality of the show??? the crappy dialogue, the crappy cinematography, the crappy soundtrack over every second of the show, the fact that the film doesn’t look like its been through post production. it feels completely washed over and devoid of any tension and drama that the first two seasons had. have there been some changes to how and who makes it? wtf?

Agreed on both points — bad dare, and more episodes where the humans narrowly escape wouldn’t improve things.

But I still think that too much was revealed about the cylons, or at least, the things that we found out about them weren’t very satisfying. I also get the various Sharons mixed up.

Ugh. Clearly that dare was a mistake. Bleh.

I’m actually still cool with Battlestar Galactica. I think the problem this season wasn’t the Cylons getting weak – it was getting boring having them always “one step behind” the fleet. I was worried they would either end up with the Voyager resolution (the fleet learns how to crush Cylons) or it would lose suspense because the humans would always “just barely” escape.

Ugh.
